Sundrop is the mobile marketing service provider for all 68 Smokey Bones locations. We have implemented a variety of
mobile marketing campaigns for "Bones" and are proud to be a part of their growth.
84.7% Email Conversion Rate
Early in 2009, Smokey Bones ran an in-store promotion giving away two free tickets
to the Coca-Cola 400 hosted at the Daytona International Speedway. Customers were
directed by in-store signage to text RACEPASS
to 70259 in order to register to win. We
responded with a text message requesting the customer's email address; when provided,
we sent full registration details to the customer using Smokey Bones branding in
the email.
Many thousands responded to the promotion, and we recorded an unprecedented 84.7%
conversion rate of customers following through to step 2 and providing their email
addresses. Customers were able to respond in-store to the call to action to participate
in an exciting give-away, and Smokey Bones collected valuable data for follow-on
mobile and email marketing.
