Travis Priest, CEO

Mr. Priest began his career in information technology in 1993 as a computer systems analyst at NASA Langley Research Center. In 1996, Mr. Priest co-founded Unified Research Laboratories (URLabs) with a group of fellow NASA employees. URLabs developed patented Internet filtering technology and sold its software products world-wide. In July 1999, Symantec Corporation acquired URLabs for $42M in cash, returning over 17X to URLabs’ outside investors.

At Symantec, Mr. Priest joined the team focused on expanding Symantec’s product offerings to the world’s leading telecommunications companies. As product line business manager for the “Symantec Scan Engine,” Mr. Priest developed and drove a product strategy from scratch that turned that product into a highly profitable business for Symantec. Mr. Priest founded Sundrop Mobile in June of 2010.

Mr. Priest holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Old Dominion University. Mr. Priest serves on the Board of Advisors for Science and Engineering at Old Dominion University, the South Lake County Economic Development Committee, and as a Guardian Ad Litem for the 5th Judicial Circuit in Florida. Mr. Priest lives in the greater Orlando area with his wife and two daughters adopted through the special needs program from the People’s Republic of China.

Tim Kinsella, Executive Vice President, Sales

With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and technology industries, Mr. Kinsella brings an extensive track record of success in revenue and margin growth, operations, finance and organizational leadership. He began his career in the restaurant & lodging industry in food and beverage operations and sales. His technology career began at Newmarket International as Director of Sales & Marketing for Destination Products. During a 6 year run with MICROS Systems Inc, Mr. Kinsella served as General Manager of OPUS 2 Revenue Technologies and as President/COO for Hospitality Solutions International. Just prior to joining the Sundrop Mobile team, Mr. Kinsella was EVP, Sales & Marketing for Merchant Link. During his 4 year tenure, Merchant Link experienced dramatic growth, during challenging economic times, due to Mr. Kinsella leading his team in landing Fortune 500 customers and by building and maximizing strong partner relationships with industry leaders such as MICROS, Panasonic, Agilysys and Squirrel. Mr. Kinsella holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Hotel School.
