A loyalty solution with multiple messaging options including, text, voice and email, to alert customers who have opted-in of events, specials and exclusive content.

Solution

After rapidly building a large opt-in loyalty database over 7 weeks, the store implemented a multi-channel messaging strategy, starting with an SMS text broadcast sent on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, followed by a pre-recorded voice message that was delivered using Sundrop’s integration with Twilio at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 23, 2011.

The key to the success of the program was the rapid database build using Sundrop Mobile Loyalty, combined with text and voice broadcasts that drove stellar results. With unique coupon codes generated in the text broadcast and a group coupon code in the voice broadcast, Sundrop’s platform was able to individually track every customer and report redemption rates, opt-out rates and revenue generation tied directly to the campaign.

As early as 11:30 AM on February 23, 2011 customers began pouring into the store to redeem their text and voice coupons, and by that evening the store had amassed its highest day of sales ever.
